About
Matthew was called to the bar in 2018. Prior to his call to the bar, Matthew practised as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand, before moving to Queensland in 2010, and practising as a solicitor in two national law firms in Brisbane, specialising in civil and commercial litigation, with a strong background in planning and environment, and local government law.​

He has appeared in the Supreme Court, Planning and Environment Court and Magistrates Court in a broad range of disputes relating to town planning, environment, regulatory enforcement and prosecutions, judicial review and general commercial contractual matters.
